Release and Waiver

By accepting these TERMS OF SERVICE, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Heart of the Matter Yoga and its employees, agents, contractors, and suppliers against any and all losses, accidents, damages, injuries, expenses and claims resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from any and all services provided. The responsibility for the consequences of your use of any suggestion, procedure or practice described on or through this site lies not with the author, publisher or distributor of any Heart of the Matter Yoga document, video, audio, workshop, or training. The information included in these programs and publications is not intended as medical or health advice. It is your responsibility to consult with a licensed health professional before beginning a fitness program, incorporating a new practice, or changing your diet. Also, you understand that Heart of the Matter Yoga does not and cannot guarantee success or any particular result. While we shall use our best professional efforts to achieve a successful result, we can make no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied.

Participation in a Heart of the Matter Yoga program may include, but is not limited to, the practice of asana (poses), pranayama (breathing), meditation, philosophy, and dinacharya (daily routines). These Yoga practices are designed to exercise every part of the body, including the internal organs, glands and nerves, though yoga is not a substitute for medical care. Yoga asana utilizes sustained stretching to strengthen muscles and increase flexibility. Like all forms of exercise, yoga is an individual experience, which exposes you to a possible risk of personal injury. By accepting these TERMS OF SERVICE, you understand that you will progress at your own pace, fully aware of this risk. If at any point you feel overexertion or fatigue, you will respect your own body's limitations and rest before continuing. Furthermore, you agree to release Heart of the Matter Yoga and Allison Modafferi Brewster from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims, arising from, or in any way connected, with your participation in any Heart of the Matter Yoga program. This waiver is binding on you and your heirs, spouse, children, legal representatives, successors and assigns.
